How long would it take to pay off a smaller home sized wind turbine?

Estimates vary, but most experts would agree that with your monthly savings you could pay off a turbine in a minimum of 6 years to a maximum of 10 years.

Most home owners don’t pay for electricity for at least 9 months out of the year.

The few months that they actually receive a bill. 10-15 dollars is a maximum. (This also depends on the size of your home)

In some instances, in windy areas, consumers use wind power to pay for their electricity bills 100% of the time.

Even some making enough power, that the electric company will buy your extra power.

If you produce more than you use. The electric company will either pay per kilowatt hour, or issue a credit for your next bill.
